Raising Whitley 1-4-14 (#RaisingWhitley)

Season premier of Raising Whitley was back on Own and I was great to see this show make it another season. The season is great and one of the main reason is because Whitley is a woman who never had a child knew nothing of raising a child, but while participating in a charity event met this single mother who apparently took such a liking to Whitley that she entrusted Whitley with her baby boy, although it was a surprise to her. Now Kym Whitley I have to give it to her because she took on the on the task of raising this baby but she also incorporated the help of some very loyal friends and family to help raise him, hence the saying it takes a village to raise a child and believe you me Kym has this village. Now what makes this show so great and worth looking at every week is that the village Kym has incorporated to help her raise her son, who is named Joshua are group that is never without antics. Everyone have really taken on the task of raising Joshua, some a little more than others and everyone wants to decide how Josh is taught from party training to birthday parties, so it makes for a very amusing show to say the least. This season premier that came on last night involved Kym letting Rodney move in with her. Now for all you have not watch the show, Rodney is a ex of Kym's that is one of Joshua's father, yes I said one of them because Kym has two friends that have declared themselves Joshua's father and although Joshua knows both men, he relates more to Rodney as a real father. Rodney Van Johnson is an actor who has been out of worked since he was relieved from the soap opera he played on and he has asked Kym could he move in until he could save money to by a house. Now all of Kym's other friends and her family is in disagreement of Kym letting Rodney move in because they said he would be using Kym as he always does. They said Rodney will pay nothing and do nothing for Kym because they are just friends. Now I understand where everyone is coming from but I also understand where Kym thinking is. Joshua who now the love of Kym's life and means everything to her she feels need a father figure as well as a mother figure, so she is willing to let Rodney who will babysit most of the time be there so Joshua can see, whom he calls dada, on a daily basis. In the meanwhile Kym will set ground rules for Rodney as far as their relationship and how long she expects him to live their. I get it she also has the protection of a men in the house as well, I really do not see anything in my opinion wrong with this. Kym sees Rodney as a real friend, whom has been there for twenty years, so why not help the man to get on his feet. I have had friends or family stay with me until they got themselves together and did not let them pay anything, especially since I knew I could afford it, once they got themselves together they got out and they never forget to this day what I did for them. When you are blessed and God continues to bless you, why not pass it on and bless someone else. Kym is a grown woman with a smart head on her shoulders and she knows exactly what she is doing, when she wants Rodney out she will get him out. As for now I see in future episodes the family and friends will continue to hound Kym about Rodney being in the house with her and to that I say so what. I really do love this show and to the mother who gave Joshua up to Kym, I want to say I hope you are watching this show and know that you can be proud that you gave your son to a home that he is well loved in. Sometimes we can not always raise our children ourselves and for any mother who is willing to admit this and give the child to someone who can instead of later on down the road killing the child gets an A for effort in my book. You can still be proud as a mother because you get to see how your son is being raised and the great support he is receiving. That is why I hope this show has a very long running, because I want to see Joshua grow up into at least a young man, now that would be great.

Herlarious 1-4-14 (@Oprah

Has anyone watch Wanda Sykes new show on OWN called Herlarious, well if you have not this program comes on at night on the OWN channel, for me who is on the East Coast it comes on at 10:00pm, and this is mostly because the show involves some adult content. This show is based on women comedian who are trying to make their mark on the comedy world, by doing stand up at the Harpo Studios in Chicago. Well I just show it for the first time last night and I will have to say the show is indeed funny, along with the women comedians coming on stage and doing their little comedy skits, Wanda also have her moment in the spotlight when she do these very funny skits of her own. Most of them are making delightful fun of some of todays television show and because Wanda herself is a real actor, they make for very hilarious skits that you can actually understand where she is going at with them. There are also guest celebrities that show up on the comedy scene as well, on last night show Brooke Shields showed up and what these celebrities do is all in fun, it adds to the already comedy we get to hear from these very funny women comedians who take on the task of standing in front of us and making us laugh. I have to admit I am mad at myself for not watching it sooner because I heard about the show but never took the time to watch it until Kim Whitley's show returned and Herlarious was following it so I actually took the time to look at it and found out I was missing a lot, so of course I stayed up to watch another episode which I thought was past episode but it is saying that last night was the premier, which confused me a little because I thought is said 2013 but maybe I was wrong, anyway both episodes were great. I hope men do not judge the show because it features mostly women comedians. Women comedians just like in most working fields, do not get the opportunity as men to really show their talents and this show allows for that. So thank you Wanda Sykes and Oprah for coming up with such a entertaining show that really gives me something to watch on Saturday nights.

Mob Wives 1-2-14 (@MobWives)

Tonight mob wives was off the chain, it was all about Renee and the new young girl Natalie. These two went at it as soon as they got to Las Vegas, and by the way why did Natalie go to Las Vegas with these woman. If you ask me Natalie should not have been a party of these women trip and whomever invited Natalie should have known that the fight between these two were bound to happen. I am not sure why it even really started by I do know that Renee saw Natalie at a morning breakfast and felt the need to start in with Natalie calling her boyfriend delicious and Natalie being the bit*h she is felt the need to talk back to Renee and throw dirt back her way and the rest of the day was on from there because everytime you thought things had calmed down and they was over it, things started back up again and let just say there was a lot of hair pulling. There was one point where Renee did a half run and jump and Drita said that Renee all of a sudden became Jimmy Fly Snuka, man that brings back memories, for all you that do not know who he is, he was a great wrestler who was good at jumping off the top rope flying upon his opponent. This was a time of wrestling when it really was wrestling, so thinks Drita for that flashback. Now I was so glad that Renee had gotten herself together and seem to be doing rather good, but now she had let this young girl come into her life and lead her back astray. In my opinion what Renee needs to do she should just cut Natalie out her life all together and fire her, its like Drita said employees should be just that and not your friend because the two will not mix. Something I notice doing this entire event was that the new lady Alicia is not as tough as I thought she was, she was floored at what went on between these two women and she said where she come from ladies do not fight, now I have to say it, I don't know where the hell she comes from but you will almost find a woman fighting in every corner of the world. Alicia in my opinion sounded like she had that fear in voice and look in  her eyes when this argument between the two ladies was going on was priceless, it was straight up like someone in a horror movie. Now at the end of the show the women convinced Renee to call Natalie and try to make a mends and what does Natalie do, she refuses to talk with Renee. Now I not sure what the rest of you thought, but I was thinking she was scared of meeting with Renee in the fear of a a** whipping. Natalie is talking a big talk but she has to admit that the older woman was handling her, Renee put her hands around this young girls skinny throat, I think made her think once of twice. From now on it is on between these two and I can not wait for the future episodes.

Dance Moms 1-1-14 (@DanceMoms)

Dance mom came on the other night and Abby made a big announcement that she would be looking for other students to join her group and that she may be getting rid of some of the girls. Now a lot of the mom was upset about this and they said any opportunity to keep her looking good Abby will do it. But personally I have to agree with what Abby is doing, she said that she these girls are getting older and getting to that point where their either going to continue with their dancing career and take it seriously or drop out all together. Most of the girl are becoming teenagers where they only have boys on their minds and not the focus on their dancing. I think Abby should replace these girls because they are getting older and we can see this as we watched the host talked to the girls alone, they sound like mature young woman who are ready to move on with their lives and although the show has brought them and their mother's money, it is that time when these girls are getting older and they are losing that cute persona, and that will to dance like their heart is in it. They are now worrying about if boys like them, can they properly apply their make up, photo opportunities with some business or a singing opportunity with some singer. I think the girls should move on a let Abby get a entire new group of young cute girls, these girls all had their turns in the spotlight so lets she another group of girls and their moms get the opportunity to be in the spotlight. We basically got to see these girls grow up on the show but they are now at a point that they must move on. I would myself love to she another group of girls and possibly boys who a young and really into their dancing skills and see them grow, it was fun seeing this original cast of girls grow up and be the beautiful young ladies they are but not it is time for a change. The mothers seem like the are highly upset that Abby is looking for new talent and it seems as all them are at each other throats to keep their child in the group from fear of Abby getting rid of some of these girls. In all fairness I think Abby should let them all go  and start with entire new cast. Abby is looking in some major cities but she should not forget some small town areas as well, she may miss the opportunity for some real good young dancers. If Abby really wants a guy, I know one right he in the colonial heights Virginia and this young man can dance his rear end off. But I know they always hit the major cities and if people choose they can travel there to try out, but I still think she could hit a couple more cities up the East Coast, I just saying. I can not wait to see these try outs it will be fun to see these little young people competing for a position in Abby's group.

Couples Thearpy 1-2-14 (@CouplesThearpyV)

I just watched couples therapy season premier and I like all the couples that came but one is this is that Farrah from teen mom who constantly stay in headlines, I guess to keep herself in the spotlight. Farrah was one of the worst teen mom's that I have ever watched on television, she treated her parents like they were trashed, as she called them by their first name and cursed them into the ground when they tried to help her. Farrah mom was always trying to help her because she wanted to make sure her grandchild was doing alright but Farrah made it more than hard for her mom to help her and lot of this was because she thought she could be independent because she was making money fro the show. That is one reason I disagree with these teen age mom reality shows because a lot of the young girls go on the show with the focus of getting money. They want easy money and they have found out that they can do this by becoming pregnant as teen moms and getting on television and this is exactly what happen to Farrah. This girl was all about the money and when she started making it she decided she could move on her own and live life from her popularity on this television. This girl moved to another state so she could get far away from her mother, in what she said was to go to culinary school and she said this was her all time dream and this is what she was doing with her life, but what is she doing, she is constantly in the headlines and now she according to this show selling sex toys. Now I am not saying that anything is wrong with that, as a matter of fact I would go in this business if I could myself, but what happen to that culinary career and the reason she was going to school and what about her young daughter Sophia. Now Farrah is on couples therapy and guess what, she does not have a partner, you heard it right this young lady came to couples therapy alone and said that she could not get a hold of her boyfriend of five months. Yes, she has this boyfriend of five months and wanted him to come to couple therapy with her, can you say television opportunity. To me this is just another television opportunity for this young lady but for some reason it went haywire, because for some strange reason the boyfriend decided to run. This girl was talking in a session in the couple therapy room and she said this always seem to happen to her so she is starting to think she is the common factor, you think. Yes Farrah you are the common factor, I watched this girl date a couple of guys why she was on teen mom and the first thing she would do is starting talking about being married and having a family, to these guys she barely knew, she went of a second date with one of the guys and said when did he think they would get married. Can you believe this, on a second date and the girl talked about marrying the guy. The doctor asked the other couples what did they think about her staying there being along and they said they were okay with it, but her not having a partner I do not think she deserve to be there because all she is trying to do is get television time to get paid or get another opportunity to do something that will get her a show. I saw future episode they will be having and they showed that the boyfriend will eventually come but from the clips they were showing he is not staying, so I think she should go. I am glad to she that John Gosselin will be coming on the show. This is one man that I think was given a hard time and was not really understood while his wife stole the spotlight for parading around. Personally I want John Gosselin and his new girlfriend get their own show, they are bringing a lot to this years couple therapy which is a plus in itself. This new woman John has is a tough cookie, she definitely is not that wimpy, phony acting Kate Gosselin who puts on those crocodile tears so that everyone can feel sorry for her. I will be watching this season of couples therapy because I want to see how all the couples relationship pan out and try to learn why they decided to keep Farrah without a partner, who am I fooling, this show is like any reality show, they want to get ratings and if they figure Farrah can bring them ratings then they include her in their program alone. If you ask me they would do us all a favor if they just kick her out the house and let her go take care of her child, she has the sex toys line why not forget trying to get your own television show Farrah, we do not need it.

Linda Lusk (20/20 on Own)

Has anyone read on this woman Linda Lusk who was supposedly took advantage of the this teenage boy and then try putting it on the boy for not taking responsibility for what he do. The thing is that she was found guilty of something but she did not have to do much of anytime. She was labeled as a sex defender as part of her part of her plea bargain. So after all was said and done she went back home to her family, her husband and two children but she was not allowed within some many foots of a school, or around friends her children brought home. After a while I guess Linda thought she was in the good because her daughter had a swim meet and she decided she would attend and on top of that her husband took her there, what the world was they thinking. Well needless to say, someone saw her and reported it and she was arrested on he spot and not only that her husband was suspend from his principal job at the school, yes you heard it right her husband was a principal at the school and apparently did not think much of his students to allow a sex offender at the school. Now Linda did not stay in jail and I did not understand that part since she was on probation but it eventually took a told on her husband of seventeen years that stood by her side with him losing his job and the two of the split. But this is not the kicker, this woman after all these issues ended up with a younger guy, yes you heard it right again, she met this guy when she was going through her conviction and he wrote her saying he understood her side because he himself had lost a child. Well let me track back a little, Ms. Luck said that the reason she engage in communication with this teenage high school boy was that she was so depressed after having lost her disable son. Okay I know people can fall into depression after losing a loved one of having a trauma in their life, but it was no excuse for this grown woman to sleep with one of her children's teenage friend because she was upset, you as a grown up should know when to draw the line, and she had the audacity to said the boy came into her home and mulipanated her, like she as a grown up was brain dead and he controlled her mind some how. Anyway back to this young man she is now with, he left his wife and daughter to be with Linda and she took him right in. The question from the interviewer to this young man was do you not feel guilty for leaving your daughter even if you had a problem with your wife. Now you have to understand this man moved out of state to be with Linda, leaving his young daughter behind and his is not as of yet divorce. Can someone please explain to me what is wrong with this picture. Now I have to say the young high school boy defended her when he was young, saying that she was not the only one at fault, this is the same boy that Linda blamed the entire time. As for the young boy who is grown today, he said it was wrong what she did and he understands this better now. Linda continues to fight with the town that is still refusing to let her be around children but she say she will fight to attend her daughter's graduation at this school. Is Linda Lusk forgetting that she is a registered sex offender and along with this titles come certain restrictions and why does she think she is above what the law has established for all sex offenders, just because she believes she is not one. Linda Lusk if you as me my opinion is still in denial as to what she did, she never really understand that she did something wrong and why is this woman not seeking professional help. I can tell she is not getting any professional help because she is still to this day quick to blame everything on the young boy, who she could have easily ignored, or kept from coming to her house or just simply as a grown up walked away. She sent this boy pictures of herself instead and met with this boy at secret locations, she was wrong no matter how you look at it. I do not always write about 20/20 shows I look at but this one just talked to me when I listen to this woman constantly blame this young man and the town she lived in for her problems, she seemed to not take any responsibility on herself and how she took her husband down as well, now that is sad. She is trying to fight the town for what she say is her right, not seek help for why you are in so much denial.

Breaking The Faith 12-29-13 (#BreakingTheFaith)

I got a good laugh on tonight's episode of Breaking the Faith. Connie and Angie decided to loosen up so they went out to the club again with the guys and this was a very funny scene. Connie began jumping up and down and swinging her arms and Angie followed, these girls began to really have fun and they were doing their own kind of dance, but was funny is they fit right in with this crowd of no dancers, if it was not for their clothing you could not have told they were FLDS girls. Connie was the one that talked Angie into going out and after going into the restroom to let down their hair, they met this one girl that offer to have a drink with Angie, as uptight a Angie was I was shocked that she did it but she did and she began to get loser, jumping on the stage and doing that little dance again. I was glad to see these girls have a good time. Now what was creepy was Angie decided to do some babysitting for this lady and she was really good with the little girl but she decided after putting the girl to sleep to go into the mothers closet and try on her shoes, clothes and make up, now that was a definitely no, no. If Angie was so curious why did she not just out like Val did and try it for herself or go with Connie, I am sure she would have been up for it. It was a good thing that the lady was nice enough to tell Angie that it was okay just to ask her next time, she knew Angie being FLDS would be a little curious, nice lady because me personally I would have kicked her out. Something else that was funny was watching the boys trying to play basketball against some other guys with jeans on, the overweight guy almost past out, I was thinking they might have to call the ambulance. These guys said they never did any sports activity at the compound because this was band as well, the children had to work, they were not given time to play like children should, how sad is that especially to think there are some kids who still are in there and doing that to this day. It was neat to see Connie go out with her boyfriend again they have a genuine love for each other, I enjoyed seeing her and Martha getting there make overs, they both look great. Connie seemed like she almost cried when she had to take her hair down for the beautician, the only thing I did not agree with was none of the women got their hair cut, I would like to really see this, but baby steps I guess. Now that Connie has her new do and her new clothes she goes home to the others and Angie makes a statement that now she is mad with her and it went off at this point. In my opinion I think Angie feels left out and wonder why Connie did not wait for her to get a make over together. Well all the girls who got make overs look great, now it is Angie's turn and the guys find themselves still learning as well. I like Ben's overall attitude, nice young man and as for Matt I think he will make it in the military, he really needs to work on getting his GED so he can go in as soon as possible, as for that girl he is possibly dating, they will not work, he needs a Christian girl, more music and praising allowed in the church he won't feel the sleep there. I am waiting for the entire group to get back together and I want to see them all go on a trip together where they will go to a beach and see how many of them are brave to really get in their undies. I personally pick that they go to a nice Walt Disney World hotel, well I think they should start off slow they are still learning. Let them go to another state and get on a plane and experience lots of people of different cultures, maybe they should go to Bahamas.
